Speech Language Pathologist-TN School for the Deaf

Salary Range: $72,000 to $80,000

School Calendar

Work Week: Monday-Friday

Shift Times: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Facility Physical Environment: TN Schools for the Deaf-Nashville Campus

Essential Duties: Speech-Language Pathologist

This position works under the general supervision of the Principal at TN School for the Deaf Nashville. This position is responsible for individual and group speech and language therapy including the development of American Sign Language, listening and spoken English, as well as written English as appropriate to student needs. Other duties may include maintenance and troubleshooting of listening and assistive technology. The SLP serves as member of IEP teams and contributes to IEP development and implementation.

Job Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology
  • Tennessee Teacher License endorsement in Speech language PreK-12
  • A valid driver's license
  • American Sign Language strongly preferred but not required
