Speech Language Pathologist, PRN - Stephenville

Are you looking for a rewarding career with flexible hours and collaborative team environment? We're looking for a qualified Speech Language Therapist (PRN) like you to join our Texas Health family.

Position Highlights

  • Work location: 411 Belknap Stephenville, TX 76401
  • PRN (as needed) with rotating scheduled and shifts. This is a true PRN role, therefore we can offer flexibilty around other empolyment and be flexible with with response times to referrals. We anticipate this role being between 2-6 hours weekly, but that could increase as needed over time.
  • This PRN role will pay a flat rate of $50.00/HR.

Position Qualifications

  • Master's Degree Speech Language Pathology (Required)

OR

  • Other Post-Baccalaureate degree recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Required)

MBS (Modified Barium Swallow) experience is preferred

Required Skills

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Problem solving ability
  • Ability to teach others
  • Time management skills
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills

Required License/Certification

  • SLP - Speech Language Pathology Texas Speech Language Pathology License Upon Hire Required OR
  • SLP-I - Speech Language Pathology Intern Texas Speech Language Pathology License Upon Hire Required
  • SLP - Speech Language Pathology Texas Speech Language Pathology License Upon Hire Preferred

AND

  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support 60 Days Required

Position Responsibilities

The SLP is responsible for the assessment of patients, assessments to determine patient's and family's level of functioning to implement effective treatment, and to plan appropriate discharge disposition.
