Per Diem Speech Therapist in Home Health Care

We are looking for a part-time or per diem (10-15 visits a week) Speech Therapist (SLP) for a very flexible position in home health care with adults and geriatrics-- you make your own schedule as far as when you start and end. No Home care experience required, however the Speech Therapist must have their CCC and have at least 2 years of experience treating adult patients. This Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is in the Home Health setting doing homecare visits with adult and geriatric patients. The company is privately owned by a nurse, so the company is not run like a corporation and the owner does understand the barriers that the healthcare professionals face. It is the only privately and locally owned homecare agency in the area. This homecare company has been in business many years and has been owned by this owner for several years. It is well established and has a very good reputation in the community. It is a very family atmosphere and they take their employees needs very seriously. This agency is steadily growing while other homecare agencies are dying a slow death. It is a rehab based corporation and has multiple specialty programs including a strong wound care program, orthopedic program, CHF program, balance/neuro rehab, and general rehab programs. The average age of population is 74. Also, we have several Assisted Living Facility patients, so many of the visits are nearby each-other. HOME HEALTH SLP JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Speech Language Pathologist must have their CCC. The Speech Language Pathologist must also have at least two years of experience working with adults or geriatrics (even if it was their CFY year). The Speech Therapist must have a Masters, or Doctorate degree in Speech Language Pathology. The Speech Language Therapist must be licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist SLP in the state. The SLP MUST either be a US Citizen or have your green card. The Speech Language Pathologist must be willing to work 10-15 visits a week. *If you qualify for this position and are interested, please put a note in your application with the following information:* 1. Please tell me how you fit the requirements in the requirements section of the ad? 2. How many hours per week you are able to do? (Please make this relative to what the job says for hours per week if it comments on that.) 3. What days and times could you do a phone interview in case the manager decides to start with that? 4. What times and days you could do an in-person interview? ***We will be emailing all Speech Pathologist candidates follow-up questions so please be watching your email that you used to apply to this position.
